Job Description

A growing operations-based organization is seeking a Training Specialist to support employee development through structured on-the-job training and classroom facilitation. This role will focus on helping new and existing employees build competence in job-specific tasks, safety protocols, and quality standards. The Training Specialist will collaborate closely with site leadership and Learning & Development partners to ensure effective training delivery and continuous content improvement.

  • Deliver training using to reinforce understanding and demonstrate proper execution of job tasks.
  • Ensure all new hires complete required compliance and safety training.
  • Facilitate on-the-job and classroom training using existing content and facilitator guides for operations team members at all levels (basic to advanced).
  • Partner with business leaders to align on weekly and daily training priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Training Program Manager to identify opportunities for content enhancement based on learner feedback and performance observations.
  • Evaluate team member skills and identify strengths and development areas through direct observation and assessment.
  • Measure training effectiveness to ensure knowledge transfer and successful application on the job.
  • Emphasize safety and quality throughout training to support a strong workplace culture.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in training and employee development.
