We’re seeking an experienced attorney with at least 2 years in immigration law, skilled in asylum defense for individual and master hearings, to deliver exceptional client representation.
Position: Immigration Attorney

Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in asylum cases, preparing and presenting for individual/master hearings.
- Conduct client consultations to assess eligibility and craft legal strategies.
- Prepare/file legal documents (asylum applications, motions, briefs) per USCIS/EOIR standards.
- Research immigration laws and precedents to support cases.
- Collaborate with staff to manage evidence, exhibits, and case files.
- Communicate case progress and options to clients.
- Stay updated on immigration law via CLE.
- Maintain organized, compliant case records.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of immigration law experience, focused on asylum cases.
- Confident handling individual and master hearings.
- Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication for client/court interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple cases independently under deadlines.
- Admitted to NY State Bar (or eligible to practice immigration law federally).
- Commitment to ethical, client-focused representation.
Preferred:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Russian.
- Experience in removal defense or family-based petitions.
