Job Description

Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Granite City, IL. This contract role spans the entire school year, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's communication development.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address diverse speech and language disorders.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote student success.
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
Participate in meetings and professional development sessions as required.

Qualifications:

Current Illinois SLP license is required.
Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
Experience working in school environments is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effectively engaging with students and staff.
