Restaurant Corporate Trainer – New York, NY
A rapidly growing fast-casual restaurant group based in New York City is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Corporate Trainer to lead training initiatives across multiple locations. This role is key to ensuring consistent operational standards, brand integrity, and team readiness as the company continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and continuously improve training programs for front- and back-of-house team members across all units
Facilitate onboarding and training for new hires, including managers, to ensure alignment with brand standards, food safety protocols, and operational procedures
Conduct in-store training sessions and workshops focused on customer service, food preparation, health and safety, and systems use
Collaborate with operations, HR, and leadership teams to identify training needs and performance gaps
Create training materials such as manuals, videos, SOPs, and checklists that support learning and operational consistency
Travel regularly to new and existing restaurant locations to provide hands-on support during openings and team development initiatives
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through performance assessments, feedback, and follow-up coaching
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company training requirements, including food safety certifications and labor standards
Serve as a brand ambassador, reinforcing company culture and values through every interaction
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in restaurant training, operations management, or multi-unit leadership in a fast-casual or QSR environment
Proven ability to develop and deliver training programs for hourly staff and management
Strong understanding of FOH/BOH operations, food safety, and guest service standards
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects across locations
Proficiency with training platforms, LMS tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
Willingness to travel frequently within the New York Metro area and beyond as needed
