Job Summary:

Ruggable is looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Digital Content Manager to own the content strategy across our digital assets, including our homepage, product detail pages (PDPs), and other on-site content experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the customer journey through compelling, conversion-optimized customer touchpoints that reflect Ruggable's brand voice and drive business results. The ideal candidate has a strong editorial background, a deep understanding of e-commerce UX, and a data-informed mindset.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the content strategy and execution for Ruggable's owned site experiences, including homepage, landing pages, and PDPs
  • Maintain and evolve the content calendar in alignment with site merchandising, marketing, and product launch plans
  • Collaborate closely with Technology, Marketing, UX Design, and Brand teams to develop content that supports product launches, campaigns, and seasonal moments
  • Optimize on-site copy and content to drive engagement, reduce bounce rate, and improve conversion metrics
  • Ensure consistency of tone, voice, and messaging across all site content
  • Use analytics tools and A/B testing to evaluate performance and iterate on content strategy
  • Lead site content briefing, asset review, and approval for on-site content updates
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate dynamic content modules and personalization into site experiences
  • Develop and implement personalized content strategies to tailor messaging and visuals based on customer segments, behaviors, and preferences
  • Stay current on content trends, SEO best practices, and competitor strategies in the e-commerce and home/lifestyle space

What You'll Need to Have:

Required:

  • 6 - 8+ years of experience in digital content strategy or site content management, ideally in a DTC or e-commerce business
  • Demonstrated success in creating and optimizing on-site content that improves user experience and drives conversion
  • Strong understanding of UX, site navigation, and customer journey mapping
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a sharp eye for brand voice and detail
  • Experience managing site content in a CMS (bonus if you're fluent in Contentful)
  • Ability to interpret data and performance metrics to make actionable content decisions
  • Proven experience collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple content workstreams simultaneously
  • Comfort managing through ambiguity and creating new processes

Preferred:

  • Background in home, lifestyle, or fashion brands
  • Working knowledge of SEO strategy and keyword integration for web content
  • Familiarity with A/B testing tools (Optimizely, Ninetailed)
  • Experience with UX writing or product storytelling on e-commerce sites

Compensation:

  • $100,000 - $115,000 per year base salary
  • An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
  • Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
