Summary

Speciality Surg Tech Ruben Institute of Advanced Orthopedic s:

Shift: 8 hour shifts (6:45a-3:15p)

Surgical Services: Orthopedics - trauma, limb lengthening, limb deformity, bone infections/tumors, joint preservation & replacement, pediatric orthopedics, and foot & ankle

As a member of the surgical team in the RIAO, the SPECIALTY SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST provides technical assistance to the surgeon/physician during surgical intervention under the supervision of the RN. When not directly assisting the physician in a procedure, may participate in the rendering of patient care under the direction of the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse. Unified by the core purpose of creating a healthier community one person at a time, the members of the Division of Patient Care Services commit themselves to sustaining a culture focused on achieving optimal patient outcomes. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations : Licensed Surgical Tech Diploma (must pass Diploma/graduation test), American Heart Association Basic Life Support BLS CPR Certification, Accredited Surgical Technology Course Certificate CST - Certified Surgical Technologist - already obtained.
