Job Responsibilities Application of Knowledge: Direct and be accountable for all aspects of the design effort for assigned disciplines, ensuring conformance with project criteria and standards. Client Management: Lead client interactions, ensure documentation of meetings, understand client needs, and develop future work opportunities. Construction Support: Monitor responses to RFIs, assist in prioritizing responses, and supervise installations and start-up when assigned. Change Management: Manage scope changes, document impacts, and ensure contractual compliance. Financial: Develop and oversee design budgets, monitor financial performance, and manage outside consultants. Scheduling: Coordinate staff and develop project schedules, ensuring compliance and resolving conflicts. Strategy: Contribute to proposal strategies, marketing, and innovative delivery methods. Leadership: Supervise personnel, ensure contractual and quality standards, lead team integration, and participate in corporate initiatives. Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in engineering. 10 years of progressive design experience, including 5 years as a lead designer and 3 years in design management. Knowledge of multiple design disciplines or related disciplines with management experience. Skills, Licenses, Certifications Professional registration or eligibility (preferred). Client and change management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design documentation software. Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and forecasts. Leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Knowledge of project management processes; PMP certification is a plus.
